I always have a pleasant experience when I deal with this office either in person or on the phone. The front office staff are friendly, courteous and willing to work around you as much as possible. I've been seeing Dr. Vanderlick for a while now and she is always extremely personable, takes the time needed to explain if need be and most of all, listens. Her assistant is also great to communicate with and makes the process painless. They also have a lab and MRI facility in the same building. If you have to go to a neurologist, definitely go here.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr Irr. My husband became extremely ill in Seattle, Washington December 31, 2011 before his flight to Anchorage, Alaska. He was flown back to Houston January 1, 2012. He was referred to Dr. Irr. Long story short, he had a right vertebral artery dissection. Dr. Irr, along with interventional radiologists, saved my husband's life. We both continue as patients of Dr. Irr as we have been for the past 12 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, listens to our questions and provides answers. We appreciate Dr. William Irr, his expertise, and the care he has provided for us.

My first visit was very positive warm and friendly receptionist. Dr. Irr was thoughtful and complete with the examination and did not rush through. Giving me an understanding for my problem. Also, pleasant and very clean facility.

Immediately after leaving Dr. Irr’s office I called my sister with whom I frequently discuss our ailments to tell her that I finally found a doctor who took the time to explain to me what my problem is and what I need to do next. The best doctor in the history of doctors. No one cares, researches, and the humility of Dr. Irr. He's the smartest doctor I know and he will still listen to me babble and say, "Oh ok..." and treat me with respect. He's truly one of the only Houston doctors who has the heart.

I have been with Dr. Vanderlick for many years. I met her at St. Luke’s when I worked there & started seeing her for Migraine Mgt. & also cervical fusion related issues. She is the best Dr. I ever have seen b/c she takes her time explaining your problems & is one of the rare Neurologists who can read your MRI, & does tests that are needed to deal with your problems. Also she is so kind & if she has samples, she will give you what you need as long as her stock is available by her Pharmaceutical Representatives. She has helped me be the best dealing with my issues & living as healthy as possible. I think she is one of the top Neurologist you can see in Houston, Texas in her specialty with her associates.

Dr Irr has been so kind with my dad who experienced a brain injury during heart bypass surgery in 2005. The past few months have seen changes in personality and behavior that Dr Irr has been there to help us navigate and look for solutions.

We are new to Houston. My previous neurologist suggested Dr. Vanderlick. She is everything that he said she would be. Dr. V is very helpful and concern about me and my MG. I think we're going to work well together.

Knew somewhat how my concerns would be evaluated/tested, but was surprised at the number, variety, and thoroughness of the evaluations. Dr. Vanderlick was very kind and reassuring about the issues I had been experiencing. She listened to my explanation of the issues and typed notes as we discussed them. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a neurologist.

Have been active patient of Dr. Bill Irr for both me and wife for 7-8 yrs. Wife was seen for ALZ(since passed) and I'm active. Dr. is outstanding in attentiveness, care, and dealing with the issues at hand. Most acommodating and understanding; we traveled 300 miles each way. Positive attitude prevails along with the underlying treatment necessary to deal with the health issues.

Dr. Vanderlick is very detailed and clear about what she is doing. I was skeptical before visiting this practice because of my long lasting condition. No wonder Dr. Mary Vanderlick is chosen top neurologist in Houston. Her tests, analysis and evaluation are on point. Check in and checkout process is breeze. Overall appointment time took satisfactory. Nothing to complain. I would recommend her to anyone with Neurological conditions.

Dr. Irr is amazing and we could not think more highly of him! My husband was hospitalized gor 7 weeks as a critical care covid patient in 2020. Although my husband had no prior history of seizures, during his hospitalization, he suffered a grand mal seizure. Following that event, he experienced continuous seizure related activity for a period of time. He was prescribed 6 seizure medications which he was taking daily. Thanks to Dr. Irr, through his monitoring, testing, and course of treatment, he slowly tapered down the seizure medications and were eventually stopped all together. My husband continues to see Dr. Irr for regular monitoring and thankfully there has been no seizure activity since stopping the meds. Without a doubt, I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Irr to anyone needing a great neurologist.

This was my first visit and everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable. Dr Vanderlick is so thoughtful as she listens to your concerns and explains your options. She is very thorough in her work-up and makes sure to answer any questions along the way. A great experience! Thank you!

She gives you ample time to express your concerns as well as ask questions. Short wait time, nice clean office, and followed all recommended Covid protocols.
