I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. William Irr. He is truly an exceptional neurologist who goes far beyond what anyone could expect from a physician.
My husband had been suffering from seizures that could occur suddenly and without warning. Dr. Irr carefully evaluated his condition and recommended a newer medication that could significantly help control the seizures. Thanks to his expertise and treatment plan, my husband has now been seizure-free for about a year and a half, which has been life-changing for our family.
Unfortunately, when the medication was first prescribed, the cost was extremely high — about $1,250 per month — and our insurance initially refused to cover it. It was simply not something we could afford out of pocket.
What impressed us most was how Dr. Irr refused to give up. Despite his incredibly busy schedule, he personally advocated on my husband’s behalf and worked tirelessly with both the insurance company and the pharmaceutical company to fight for approval. During this time, he even provided my husband with medication samples to make sure he could continue the treatment without interruption.
After all of his effort and persistence, we finally received the wonderful news that the medication was approved. Instead of paying $1,250 per month, my husband now only pays a $20 copay.
This outcome would not have been possible without Dr. Irr’s dedication and compassion. He truly cares about his patients and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure they receive the care and treatment they need.
In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Irr is patient, kind, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. We feel incredibly fortunate to have him as my husband’s neurologist.
If you are looking for a neurologist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely committed to his patients, I cannot recommend Dr. William Irr highly enough.
Doctors like Dr. Irr don’t just treat patients — they change lives, and our family will always be grateful for the care he gave my husband.

I saw Dr. Chachere a few times after developing issues due to being in a coma. He thoroughly reviewed the report, listened to me patiently, explained the testing, how to prep for them, eased my fears and came up with a plan of action that felt designed for me and not just generic. Dr. Chachere is personable, polite, professional and easy on the eyes.

Dr. Vanderlick truly cares about your wellbeing. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend her! The office is nice and easy to get to and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would not trust any where else.

I always have a pleasant experience when I deal with this office either in person or on the phone. The front office staff are friendly, courteous and willing to work around you as much as possible. I've been seeing Dr. Vanderlick for a while now and she is always extremely personable, takes the time needed to explain if need be and most of all, listens. Her assistant is also great to communicate with and makes the process painless. They also have a lab and MRI facility in the same building. If you have to go to a neurologist, definitely go here.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr Irr. My husband became extremely ill in Seattle, Washington December 31, 2011 before his flight to Anchorage, Alaska. He was flown back to Houston January 1, 2012. He was referred to Dr. Irr. Long story short, he had a right vertebral artery dissection. Dr. Irr, along with interventional radiologists, saved my husband's life. We both continue as patients of Dr. Irr as we have been for the past 12 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, listens to our questions and provides answers. We appreciate Dr. William Irr, his expertise, and the care he has provided for us.

Dr Irr is wonderful physician. He has a lot of experience. He listens to you and uses his experience to help you. He has a fantastic new assistant who is great!! I hope she never leaves.

My first visit was very positive warm and friendly receptionist. Dr. Irr was thoughtful and complete with the examination and did not rush through. Giving me an understanding for my problem. Also, pleasant and very clean facility.

I have been with Dr. Vanderlick for many years. I met her at St. Luke’s when I worked there & started seeing her for Migraine Mgt. & also cervical fusion related issues. She is the best Dr. I ever have seen b/c she takes her time explaining your problems & is one of the rare Neurologists who can read your MRI, & does tests that are needed to deal with your problems. Also she is so kind & if she has samples, she will give you what you need as long as her stock is available by her Pharmaceutical Representatives. She has helped me be the best dealing with my issues & living as healthy as possible. I think she is one of the top Neurologist you can see in Houston, Texas in her specialty with her associates.

Immediately after leaving Dr. Irr’s office I called my sister with whom I frequently discuss our ailments to tell her that I finally found a doctor who took the time to explain to me what my problem is and what I need to do next. He is very knowledgeable and has a great personal touch. He lives up to his reputation as being a top doctor in his field. Thank you Dr. Irr.
