Dr. Vanderlick is a native of Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and her medical degree from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. She completed her internship and residency in neurology at Baylor College of Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in electromyography. She has been with Neurology Consultants of Houston, P.A. since 2000. Vanderlick is a general neurologist seeing a range of neurologic problems but has an interest in headaches. She injects Botox for various neurologic disorders including chronic migraine. She also performs EMG and nerve conductions in the office.

She has been named numerous times by Texas Monthly magazine as a Texas Top Doc and was recently selected as a Top Neurologist in Houston by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals (IAHCP). She is Board Certified in Neurology and recertified in 2008.

In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and her pets, a pug adopted from the SPCA and a Boston Terrier recently adopted from the Houston Humane Society. She and her husband enjoy being foodies in the great town of Houston.
