Effective March 1, 2022, Neurology Consultants of Houston will be out of network for BCBS.

BCBS terminated the physician contract through Memorial Hermann. We, Neurology Consultants of Houston have all of our insurance contracts through the Memorial Hermann System, known as MHMD.

Negotiations are ongoing between BCBS and Memorial Hermann however the situation does not look promising at this point in time (2/24/22).

Continuation of care forms may be submitted to BCBS. These forms have to be signed by you, the patient and then faxed to BCBS. Thus far, some have been approved and others are “in-process”.

You, the patient needs to call BCBS Customer Services.

The number is on the back of your BCBS insurance card.

Demand that BCBS keep us, Neurology Consultants of Houston in the network.
